The Research

Artificial Inteligence

Lorem Ipsum

Violence against women is one of the most pressing social problems in the world, requiring innovative and efficient solutions. Artificial Intelligence (AI) emerges as a powerful tool to help prevent, identify and combat this type of violence, offering mechanisms that range from early detection to support for victims.

One of the main applications of AI is the analysis of patterns in social networks, messages and calls. Natural language processing (NLP) algorithms can identify key words, aggressive tones or veiled threats, alerting authorities or protection services before the violence escalates. Platforms such as intelligent chatbots in reporting apps allow victims to seek help anonymously and safely, receiving legal and psychological guidance in real time.

In addition, predictive systems can cross-reference historical data on police incidents, police report records, and even socioeconomic information to map high-risk areas and situations. This allows government agencies to implement preventive policies, such as awareness campaigns or increased patrols in vulnerable areas.

Another significant advance is the use of geolocation and facial recognition technologies to monitor compliance with protective measures. If an aggressor approaches a victim, an automatic alert can be sent to the police, speeding up the response. In the legal sphere, AI can assist in the triage of cases, identifying priority cases and speeding up legal progress.

However, the use of these technologies requires caution to avoid privacy violations and algorithmic biases. It is essential that systems are developed with transparency, data diversity and human oversight. When applied ethically, AI can be a transformative ally, helping to reduce violence against women and ensuring greater safety and justice.
