About
Ana Paula holds a degree in Computer Science from UECE and a master's and doctorate from the Center for Informatics at UFRPE, where her research involved software reuse processes and test automation frameworks, respectively. She is a member of the technical board and founder of the Brazilian Test Improvement Model (MPT.Br), a certified consultant for the Brazilian Software Improvement Model (MPS.Br), and has over 20 years of experience working with process consulting, including the implementation of CMMI 3 at CESAR (2009), implementation of process improvement in companies at Porto Digital (since 2010), and project manager and consultant responsible for the implementation of MPS.Br Sw, MPS.Br SV, and MPT.Br at the Brazilian Army's Software Development Center (CDS) (2023). She also holds a postgraduate degree in Public Leadership from the Harvard Kennedy School, which she completed in June 2024. She is a professor in the Department of Computing at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE) and an Honorary Research Fellow at the Center for Violence and Society at City, St George's, University of London (2025). Her dedication to research and project promotion is notable through lectures and presentations, particularly the SARA project exhibition, held at the invitation of the Minister of the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MCTI), Luciana Santos.
