André Nascimento holds a degree in Computer Engineering (UPE), a Master's degree in Computer Science (UFPE), and a PhD in Computer Science (UFPE). He completed a fellowship at the Institute for Biomedical Engineering in the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen (RWTH Aachen, Germany). He has been a professor at UFRPE since 2013 and has maintained international collaborations ever since. In January 2019, Dr. André Nascimento served as a visiting researcher in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Bristol (UK), with funding from UK International (UK). More recently, he completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Institut de Recherche en Informatique de Toulouse - IRIT, in Toulouse, France. Throughout his career, researcher André Câmara Alves do Nascimento has produced 54 publications, including book chapters, journal articles, and conference papers. He is also one of the coordinators of the AiBoxLab Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (UFRPE), working mainly on projects related to machine learning and natural language processing.
